I have five days off work. Four of them are for the long Easter weekend, plus one day on Tuesday which we got in good faith from the university because of coronavirus. So, because the Camino was supposed to take five days, I’ll be doing it at home from today, finishing on Tuesday.
Stage 1 is Sarria to Portomarin and I’ve linked to a description of the stage.
Of course, I’m not actually walking anywhere. I’m sitting in my living room, cycling on my little pedals. But I did the equivalent of 22km as you can see on the blog post picture.
I took my time, stopped for lunch and cups of tea, starting at half past nine, finishing at half past four. One day down, four to go!
See you tomorrow, when I take on the next stage: Portomarin to Palas de Rei
